Collaboration with Man Ray Trust
A tribute in collaboration with the Man Ray Trust.
“I first met Stephanie Browner, Man Ray’s niece, at a dinner with mutual friends. A few weeks later, she invited me to collaborate with the Trust — I was thrilled. I’ve admired his work since art school, and her trust made this project very special. Visiting his archives to choose the works was an incredible experience and deeply
inspiring.” – Darshana Shilpi Rouget, Founder
Man Ray (1890–1976) is celebrated for his Surrealist photographs and “rayographs,” but he also painted, made films, sculpted, printed, made tapestries, and wrote poetry. For this collection, we selected two paintings and two photographs to honour his wish to be recognised as a painter as well as a photographer.
The result is a scarf collection that celebrates his experimentation, creativity, and enduring vision — a wearable connection to his art.
