Misako Kato
Ballerina and model, Misako Kato was born in Kanazawa, Japan, where she studied ballet from early childhood. After winning a place at the Bolshoi Ballet School, Misako relocated to Moscow at the age of 15, graduating three years later. She danced for companies in Canada, Japan, Germany and France, before finding her current home at the Ballet Vlaanderen (Royal Ballet of Flanders) in Antwerp.
Misako has collaborated with us on our social media campaigns as model and creative muse, beautifully evoking the idea of the scarf as a personal means of expression.
