Platinum-palladium prints are available in limited editions of 10 and are produced by 31 Studio, the leading platinum printing specialist in the UK with clients including David Bailey and the Royal Photographic Society.
Gallery-quality inkjet prints are open editions, printed on a Canon Pro S10
Developed in the 19th century, platinum-palladium printing is regarded as one of the most distinctive and challenging photographic processes. Paper is hand-coated with a platinum solution and exposed to ultraviolet light in the carefully controlled environment of the darkroom. Even the smallest alterations by the printer result in uniquely individual prints.
Chemically inert and characterised by a distinctive tonal range, platinum-palladium prints are prized for their longevity and aesthetic qualities.
These platinum-palladium prints are from a series of photographs taken from an upcoming book ‘Duality’.
Inkjet prints are part of the series ‘Duality’ & ‘Sentience’, a collaboration between ballet dancer - Juliet Burnett, photographer - Joel Benguigui, and founder of Alba Amicorum - Darshana Shilpi Rouget.
The photo series ‘Duality‘ documents scarves from our creative partnership with the Man Ray Trust.
Prints are available in A4 and A3 sizes on a matt photo paper. For custom sizes please contact us. ‘Duality’ and ‘Sentience’ will also be published in book form later this year.
